Canals, boats, and waterfront charm close to home
Port Grimaud is one of the easiest and most enjoyable short trips from the villa. Often described as the “Little Venice of Provence,” it is built around canals, bridges, colourful houses, and small boats. It has a completely different atmosphere from the old village of Grimaud, which makes it a nice contrast.
We recommend going for a slow walk along the canals or taking a small boat trip through the waterways. It is also a good place to stop for lunch or a drink by the water, especially if you want a relaxed coastal outing without committing to a full day away.
In summer, it is better to go earlier in the day or later in the afternoon, as parking and traffic around the coast can become busy.
Estimated driving distance from Grimaud Village: around 10 to 15 minutes.
