A memorable full-day Riviera excursion

Monaco is one of the longer day trips from the villa, but it can be worth it if you want to see one of the most iconic places on the Côte d’Azur. The Prince’s Palace, the old town on the Rock, Port Hercule, the Oceanographic Museum, Monte-Carlo, and the Casino district are all part of the experience.

We recommend keeping the visit focused. Start around the Rock and the palace area, then continue toward the harbour and Monte-Carlo. Monaco is compact, but it can feel busy, so it is better not to overplan the day.

This is not the most relaxed excursion from Grimaud, mainly because of the distance and parking. But for guests who want a memorable Riviera day trip, it is a strong option. Leave early and plan your parking before you go.
